Product Description

Commonly used specifications: thickness 3-10mm, copper layer thickness ratio 20-30%
Copper-aluminum composite row definition: Copper-aluminum composite row is a kind of aluminum-based matrix with an outer layer covered with copper. It can be specially used to replace copper busbars and aluminum busbars.
Copper-aluminum composite row usage: widely used in automation, metallurgy, high and low voltage electrical appliances, construction industry and metallurgical industry.
At present, the main production processes of copper-aluminum composite rows include cast copper tube pouring liquid aluminum (copper-clad aluminum) and continuous casting and rolling composite. The process comparison is as follows:

Continuous casting rolling composite

① High temperature and high pressure continuous casting and rolling composite fundamentally solves the oxidation and eutectic problems between the two metal transition layers. During the compounding process, copper and aluminum reach a semi-molten state and are compounded together under the action of rolling force. There is a comprehensive oxygen-free metallurgical compound between copper and aluminum;

②The equipment has large rolling force and high composite strength, including: peel strength: 12N/mm ; composite rate ≥ 99.9% ;

③Industrialized continuous composite production , with high degree of automation, high product consistency, and safe and reliable performance;

④ In the subsequent processing process, the machining performance is better, there is no blistering or cracking when bending ≥ 90 °, no copper and aluminum delamination occurs during punching and shearing, and the minimum bending radius of the bending is small;

Copper-aluminum composite materials can be provided with thicknesses ranging from 0.02mm to 15mm and widths ≤ 1000 ㎜; according to different use requirements, products with different softness and hardness such as O/H24/H18 can be provided, with more specifications and types.

Cast copper pipe pouring aluminum liquid

copper clad aluminum

① When produced from a single material, the consistency of the product is poor, and the composite interface is uneven and discontinuous, resulting in a low composite rate ;

② Bimetallic liquid production has different crystallization temperatures and is prone to generate oxide layers (multi-metallic compounds). It is easy to generate current differences during the conductive process, which can lead to circuit failure and accidents ;

③The mechanical processing performance of copper-clad aluminum has certain limitations. Due to its poor bonding surface, low recombination rate, and low composite strength, it is easy to cause cracking of copper and aluminum separation ;

④ Due to the influence of the crystallizer and equipment, wide-width products cannot be produced. Generally, the maximum processing size is 14mm*120mm , which is subject to greater process constraints ;

⑤ The blank only undergoes simple plastic deformation during subsequent processing, with few processing passes and insufficient processing rate. The as-cast structure has obvious defects, such as pores and trachoma, so the mechanical strength is low and it is easy to delaminate during subsequent bending, punching, sawing and other processing processes.
